I am Monique van Wijk. Since 2024, I have been working at the Coppelmans veterinary clinic. I studied veterinary medicine in Utrecht and have been a veterinarian since 1995. After many wanderings in the Netherlands and abroad, I have been working in the Netherlands again since 2012. My passion lies in internal medicine, but I really enjoy doing ultrasounds and doing gastroscopies. In my opinion, veterinary medicine is the most fun profession there is. The huge variety of animals and customers makes every day different. Every day, you learn something new and the profession is developing enormously. After work, husband and animals are waiting for me at home. I have a somali and an abbessin and an epagneul breton. All three of them have their own personality and therefore make them unique.
